How do we describe who God is?

Many words, like "magnificent", could be a start ...but especially in America, where our choice of words create loose associations, how really descriptive is it?

"It was a magnificent meal, and I just loved the dessert ...it was to die for!!" How's that, again?????

If you tell me you are going to read the entire Bible, then we can talk ...that's great! I can't think of anything better. I can't simply explain to you about God. Without the Bible as our focal point, how could we ever reach the point of reverent awe that brings us to praise and worship?

God is complex ...I can never aspire to comprehend His infinite wisdom.

God is simple ...He gives us simple truths, that we can believe and cling to, as these truths are unchanging.

In truth, I believe in God ...and it is my heart's desire for you to also. But to ask me for proof of why I believe in God ...it would require more than a few sentences and your limited attention, if that is all you are committed to offer.
